HOW TO WORK WITH TRADES TO BUILD YOUR HOME
We have a great working relationship with other professionals. We have a bond with our trades. Our father’s been doing this for twenty years. We use a lot of the same trades that he’s been using since day one because we like to create relationships with them and we really trust the quality of their work.
HOW THE INTERIOR DESIGNER, ARCHITECT AND BUILDER WORK TOGETHER
Together with an architect and a designer it takes all three of us to make one beautiful home. The consultants job is never finished. During construction there’s always unforeseen circumstances that you run into as you build. You can end up with loose transition materials or tie-ins of certain walls or fixtures.  Which means you need the designer and the architect to be able to come onto the job site and spend their time to rectify any problems. To make sure it comes out looking the way that we all want it. Or the way the client intends to.
THE PROBLEM WITH CHOOSING MARBLE
When the designer and the client have chosen marble the project manager tries to give the best suggestions or past
experiences to pass onto the clients. May it be the materials or functionality of certain products or design. For example, marble looks great but it’s a natural stone. Which may not be well-suited for kitchen counters as it’s hard and very porous and it stains very easily. It also marks very easily. Also you have to polish it, or reseal it every year to keep it looking good.
WHEN BUILDING A HOME I’TS ALL IN THE DETAILS
Euro Canadian Construction’s expertise is in the detailing that is what we like to do and we work with the consultants to do it. When you walk into one of our homes we built you don’t see things out of line. Nothing draws your attention away from the entire space. Where you can go into someone else’s home and you see a funny transition of a molding or a product and it catches your eye. Then suddenly you realize you are looking for other issues. So at Euro Canadian Construction we have done our job right if you have nothing to point out at the end of the day.
