How to Decorate a Christmas Tree? 
This year our friends at Arden Interiors had a holiday party. Claire and her new interior Designer Dominique decorated a beautiful tree for the their event at the office. Here are their insider tips on a how to decorate a beautiful holiday tree.
Tip Number One 
Choose a pre-lit tree. This way if you want to make the tree brighter you can always add more strings of lights.
Tip Number Two 
The best Christmas Trees have theme. There is no rule that all trees have to be decorated in the colours of red or green. Your tree should suit your personal style. For example the girls at Arden Interiors wanted the tree to reflect their company’s brand. Their logo colours are black white and gold. There are so many colour combinations you can decorate your tree in.
Tip Number Three 
Your Christmas Tree does not need to cost a fortune. If you choose a few beautiful ornaments
you can definitely get away with a few dollar store  treasures.
Tip Number Four 
Another way to get creative with your Christmas tree is with the tree skirt. The Arden girls suggest you can get more creative by switching it up. Instead of using a traditional tree skirt try playing around with different textures and materials. For example, you can use fur, felt, or batting for a tree skirt. Again don’t be scared to play around with none traditional materials.
Tip Number Five 
Make it Personal. Add some personal ornaments to your Christmas tree. For example Claire put her husbands favorite baseball ornament on the tree.
Tip Number Six 
Choose ornaments that you won’t tire of. You want to be able to use these objects year after year. So you can save money and not have to spend money on new ornaments every year.

Put your favorite ornaments on first and fill the gaps with larger ornaments.
Tip Number Eight 
Use ribbons to add a great amount of depth and texture and pattern on your tree.
